Digha: The best tourist spot in west bengal and  best place for the sea lovers .

Digha is just 185 km from kolkata and best place for relaxing after long era of busy life. It is located in southest part of east medinipur, is located in West Bengal, India. It takes only 5 hours by bus and 4 hours by train to reach digha from Kolkata. It situated in the border of Odisha and West Bengal.





Digha is famous for nice sea beach , long drive destination , cashew garden , different types of fried fish in snacks , ecological place , pleasant atmoshphere . There is many sight seeing places. How to reach digha ? 

There are many buses and trains for  going digha . There are many  non ac SBSTC buses from different terminus of kolkata such as esplanade , belghoria , korunamoyee, Howrah and also much more private ac and non ac buses . 
Non ac bus price from 140 rs to 180 rs
Ac bus price starts from 300 rs
Coming to the train section there is Tamrolipta Express from Howrah station 
Which cost 100 rs  and also super ac express which price starting from 350 rs 
Tamralipta express departs at 6.00 Am and Super ac express departs at 11.00 Am  from Howrah junction.
You can also go there by car. It will take five to six hour to reach there from Kolkata.

OLD DIGHA :

 It  is the main and oldest part of digha . It is a crowded place with good hotels and market near to the sea making the place very beautiful and joyful . You can get very cheap hotels to check in and also good restaurent to have your food . You can buy some fantastic show pieces ,gifts , crafts made from sea creatures . It is also famous for some spicy food, crispy crunchy fishes,
crabs It is available in the market from the evening. 

                 

NEW DIGHA : 

It is better than old digha , just 3 km from old digha with scerene beauty . Hotel are costly than the old digha but all are decents . The sea beach is long and big to feel better . The atmosphere is very pleasant . Boat riding available and also Horse riding in the bank of beautiful bay of bengal . The Atmosphere is very pleasant.  Weather is very moderate in all time. Can spent quality spare time in seabeach  with some drink and some snacks by sitting  infront of the sea.





UDAYPUR SEABEACH :

It is a lonely place 3 km from new digha  situted in odisha border best in day time with beatiful sea beach full of fishersman boats and also with the biggest Cashew garden of west bengal . The place is very beatiful with the climbing roads . It is the best place for playing games in the sea beach and also take some serious photography of the nature. The roads are not plane in there. 




TALSARI :

It is around 9 km from digha with superb natural beaty of Palm tree garden with a big lake of knee deep water just like a swimming pool making a perfect sight scene to visit . It is also an amazing place which is situated in the part of Odisha.




DIGHA MOHANA :

It is around 2.5 km east from old digha where ganga meets the bay of bengal . It is called mohana specially famous for fish market and to buy fish those who are staying there with own cooking  kit . The fishes are of various types and fresh .


TAJPUR :

It is now a well known place ,only 16 km from digha , a new sea beach you have to take one whole day for tajpur planning . Sea beach is very big with cheapest live small hut dhaba where you can take rest and also buy fish ,chickhen, crab and ordered them to prepare your favourite dishes . There are many hotels and loudges also. It is famous for the long distance trip from the bikers and beautiful side to spend a day with the quality food, beaches, beautiful scenery.
